I am so excited about this, Chevalier is a great series and for once I think I am going to keep the current skin as my skin for good....or at least a while. I can't wait to hear the dub.

**giggling** Well, it is a nice skin (except for the skinny blond). I certainly like it better than the Air Gear. It looks like periodic ad skins is going to be a new feature at ANN. Not that I'm complaining mind you since I'll be able to see the first episode of this series. Of course, I've already pre-ordered it with TSRI. |

This is a really bizarre anime.
 But I like it. I'm not quite ready to jump to buy it, but I'll definately give it a rent.

Wow. ADV must be throwing money at you. Not that that's a bad thing. Chevalier is definitely a good series.

I watched the the free first episode...WOW!!! That's all I have to say...WOW!!!

I will admit that I'm really interested in Le Chevalier D'Eon. It's got georgeous art and costumes, and the cg doesn't really stand out like a sore thumb. I am pleasently surprised that the English voices seem very authentic (for French people speaking English
 ) and didn't grate on my nerves at all - which was awesome - I give ADV a thumbs up for not messing this one up! I also really liked how they handled spoiler[D'Eon's voice change when his sister inhabits his body] Now as long as the script didn't take a drastic turn from the original Japanese version - which ADV frequently does to my annoyance  - I'll be 100% happy. I'm looking forward to watching the rest of this. Who know's, maybe I'll even crack out the ol' wallet and buy it as it's released.

is there a way for it to not change my skin?
I like the blue/white redesign over these colorful skins that I keep getting set to. Even after setting it to the ANN 2006 Redesign skin, when the new skin pops up it will get overridden. |

I must say after watching this first episode I really like how Lia sounds the most. Specifically at the end of this episode with the change from D'Eon to Lia. Like noted in previous threads this show just sounds right with English, and ADV has got some really great VA thus far. And that was something that I was worried about when ADV licensed this show, I thought it was better suited for Geneon but it appears ADV is doing a great job so thumbs up on this series thus far. I am so glad I pre-order this last year, I can't wait to see how the first volume turns out,
I don't know this will probably be the last one for sometime at least; or perhaps until Sgt. Frog has it's first volume released. I like what ADV has done with their last few releases; that is spreading the word. I don't just mean that because I like Chevalier a lot (It was quite to see it on the frontpage of ANN/IGN) but also because this Advertisement also got me to look at Coyote Ragtime, a show I probably wouldn't of normally. Same here except I tossed a bucket of water on mine and now it is water logged. 
You know I have heard many good things about it so I am expecting alot from it (still haven't seen the episode on line yet) It has an interesting story. To uLTraCarL: if you go to your my anime you can change the skin of the site by clicking on the link that is titled "skin" the option should be avaliable for the eregular skin.
