Happy to hear the Funi Fairy Tail license goes beyond eppie 100. Right now there are 175, so the fact Funi will go past 100 seems to suggest it is likely they will eventually get them all.

Good news on Binbogami-ga. It was a great little comedy that I encourage people to at least check out.

Glad to hear about Binbogami-Ga, I was under the impression it didn't do that well for them. I'll definitely buy Smile

While Im not a fan of strike witches, kinda surprised to see that they arent gonna do the movie, I always thought that franchise was one of their best sellers. Either the second season sold poorly for them, or they dont think the movie is good enough to license

The Heaven's Lost Property movie and Baka and Test OVA release should be a good benchmark for how a Strike Witches movie would do and both tell me "Go for it!".

I'd say the asking price for the movie was too high.

Binbogami-ga's getting released which is good. Now it just needs a second season so Nadeshiko can finally get into the plot.

One of the forgotten licenses could be coming later this year on home video.

The sub notation has to be typo (meaning the dub could go up for EVS members on June 4th).

But now there is EVS info on the dub online streaming. It's looking like we could see a home video release as early as fall.

Haha, pretty sure they got the entire series at this point. There is 175 eps and they stated it goes beyond episode 100. Would be kind of silly to leave out the last (for now) season run of the show, especially since sales have been really good.

FUNimation Acquires Rights for Sakura Wars the Movie
Saturday June 1, 2013 at 01:00 pm

Flower Mound, TX - June 1, 2013 - FUNimation Entertainment announced today that it has acquired the home video rights to Sakura Wars the Movie. Originally released in Japan back in 2001, this film is produced by Production I.G. and features CG animation of steampunk-esque technology and exciting mech battles.

synopsis:
The heroines of the Flower Division are stars of the stage by day and mech pilots by night, defending 1920s Japan from evil!

FUNimation expects to release the movie by the end of this year. While it will contain the original Geneon English dub, FUNimation's release of the movie will include brand new video extras, including interviews with Japanese Sakura Wars the Movie staff.

I believe this is the update for the uncensored version since the episodes that are currently up are censored
