Now, admittedly, I only watched half of this series, but those chracters in the encyclopedia picture look nothing like the actual characters in the show.
I note that on Google Image Search, typing in "Hanbun no Tsuki ga Noboru Sora" pops up with that picture many times, but...it looks like something from another series to me. For one, the characters were more realistic looking: a brunette boy and a long, black-haired girl. I know in some pictures artists will randomly change hair colors and stuff, but...the guy's hair style is wrong, and his stance is wrong. He looks too aloof. And what's up with the book? I don't know. It just looks wrong. Am I crazy or what? |

Well, it's to be expected that title pictures will depict characters in a series in significant higher quality and perhaps somewhat different than in the actual series. It's not just HanTsuki, countless series in the encyclopedia have title pictures that depict the series as higher quality than it actually is, and more often than not, these come from official sources.
