This thread is for those that do not want to wait for the next chapter of HxH and want to do something (or think your doing something) about it. We all want Togashi to come back and continue the series because he left all his fans hanging during the climax of the "Chimera Ant arc." Sound off to whatever emotions, feelings, outlook, rumor, opinion, etc,. We all have one common pgoal and that is that Togashi resumes working on HxH. Or least give his notes to someone else that can draw the series.

Well hey, if you are sick there isn't much you can do about it.
But as someone who is a huge fan of the anime (I don't really read manga, although I should read the Chimera ant arc at least), I can't argue against more HxH. Although I'd be cautious about handing over the series to someone else. I wouldn't want such a great series to be ruined if the replacement wasn't up to standard. |

Up to what point has the manga stopped so far? I've only read the first volume, and at times have read it in Shonen Jump (Japanese), but haven't been able to get a clear grip of the situation.

The manga continues from chapter 185. Thats where the anime left off and a whole new arc has begun. It is now at a stand still at chapter 260 and the "Chimera Ant" arc hasn't been finished because Togashi has taken a leave of absence as of April. It wasn't like he left the manga at a slow part. He left it at a critical juncture of the arc that has most fans intrigued on what will happen next.
I created this thread to get fans of this beloved manga to release there frustration, share news on upcoming chapters and give news on Togashi's health status because of the floating rumors of his health deteriorating. If you have any news concerning this please post it. Moderators, editors, encyclopedia personnel, etc,. are welcome to post any information here because, I would like to know from some credible sources about what exactly is going on with Togashi (not to say that members of the site are not credible.) Please show your support for more Hunter x Hunter chapters! |

I'm reading the Viz version, so I don't have to worry about delays at the moment. However, ever since I've heard about the detiorating art and frequent skips (weeks with no new chapters) in recent months, I've been worried about whether Togashi would ever finish it.
I hope he recovers and is able to go back to good art and actually finish the series. |

Sound really desperate  , though i was the same too when back at that time i finished the Ovas and people had told me that there wasn't any other animated work.
This manga has started since what?!!! 8 years from now and i still think it has a long way to go before it naturally ends. At least we're fortunate enough that Togashi ins't to the same degree as Kentarou Miura(the maker of Berserk). I'm predicting Togashi to make his comeback probably in Feb 2007 and if he doesn't then we may as well assume that the manga is being cancelled.
I'm planning to get the Viz releases too but before that i need to know if Hunter x hunter will be ever continued. Besides i don't need to waste my money into an incomplete work, even though i'm a huge fan. |
