According to Amazon, the first season of Pokemon is being released on DVD. The description states that it is uncut, subtitled and is including the banned episodes. Everyone knows you should take thing on the internet with a grain of salt until it is confirmed by official sources. That being said, is it true or an error on Amazon's part?

I think the real question is does anyone want to relive spoiler[ the Seizure Episode?]. And if this knowledge IS ture, I might just give Pokemon another try. The Lucario movie was really good so maybe the uncut will be. |

That's rather odd, as the 1st season is supposed to be the same dub from 4Kids, with no subtitles, nor original footage. As well, it's only the first 26 episodes as well, as opposed to the whole 85-episode Season 1. There also hasn't been any announcement on releasing Pokemon uncut & subtitled, either. =\
So ATM, I think that they have their info wrong. |

Well I dont know, but if it is uncut then i'd like to see it (specially the things 4kids banned)

Unfortunately, like the Australian release back in May, it is just the dub. And the R4 release had 52 episodes instead of 26 for a much cheaper price.

it's the 4kids dub and the banned eps are not on the boxset i have seen the box at suncoast.

Does anyone know if this boxset still contains the dub version of the "Beauty And The Beach" episode that Kid's WB only aired once before it was pulled from television and never shown again or the other episodes that have been absent from American TV since 9/11, like the episode where Ash captures a Haunter or the episode where Misty captures a Tentacool?
