Small correction Takako was spoiler[Killed by her father because of the pain she was in from summoning Genbu.] At least that was the story at the time in the anime, Watase-san could have changed her mind about that while writing Genbu Kaiden. |

Ooh, I've never seen this thread before! I've read some really doozies....
- Midnight Panther: One of the first manga CPM released (along with Chirality) and easily one of the most excruciating reading experiences of my life. It's basically three hot exotic dancers with no personalities whatsoever that become assassins at night. There was no plot, there was no personality to any of the characters, and the constant fan service was pandering to the point of being excruciating. - Panku Ponk: Released by Studio Ironcat, this one is targeted straight to kids, but it's so dumbed down I can't imagine any child actually enjoying it. I bought one issue (as in a 32-page floppy) of this thing and promptly deleted it from my memory banks, so I can't honestly say why I hated it, just that I remember really, really hating it. - Flag Fighters: Another winner from Studio Ironcat (MAN, did they import some horrible series), this one featured a bunch of mindless martial arts action between characters with no personalities, no backgrounds, no nothing. It's basically a ripoff of series like Fatal Fury or Street Fighter II,but without the benefit of knowing the characters in advance. This one's by Masaomi Kanzaki, who also graced the world with a very crappy Street Fighter II manga adaptation and a much better "armored warrior" series called Xenon (which was one of Viz's first manga titles). That's all I can think of off the top of my head, but let me dive into the archives. |

I had no idea there was a Dragon Half manga. The anime is one of my favorites of all time, but I can definitely see it as an "acquired taste" that's not for everybody. Have you seen the anime as well, and if so, did you dislike that as well? |

AIKI, a poor man's poor man's Tenjou Tenge wannabe rip-off that makes stuff like Ikki Tousen and Battle Club almost look good.

I don't like the anime either. Sorry. Which I actually find strange since I loved Abenobashi and it's a parody series like Dragon-Half. I probably didn't like Dragon-Half because to me, it foucused more on being funny than on its story and I didn't like that. Even Abenobashi focused on story and different generes more at times like with spoiler[Sasshi learning about Grandpa Mosa's death from Eutus.] or like spoiler[Sasshi wanting to help Mune Mune find Eutus and Sasshi trying to make Arumi happy.] Buso Renkin I didn't like because I felt it tried to hard to be like Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist. And what FMA and Bleach got right, Buso Renkin didn't. The chracters also looked older than their approximate age. Chokotto Sister because of the horrible animation and horrible voices. I only liked one voice and that's becuase the girl(The android(yes she's an android) sister's)'s voice sounded like Rika Furude's(Higurashi no Naku Koro ni). Story also sucked for a slice of life series. Ichigo Mashimaro is much better. Crayon Shin Chan becuase the jokes are stale. It, to me, seemed like it was trying too hard to be offensive and funny. To me, it's a poor man's South Park. That's all I really didn't like. I dislike more anime than I do manga. |

I have you all beat.
It's called "My Balls". It's about a guy, who by some whacky means, gets some evil demon sealed inside of his testicles, and if he ejaculates during the month of (I think?) July, he'll release the evil demon and destroy the world. And no, it's not actually porn (at least the first cahpter wasn't, it was more ecchi than anything). Also, while it's the worst manga I've ever read, it's also awesome in a very bad way. On the plus side, the art was pretty okay. |

That sounds pretty fake ¬¬
Well, to be honest, I didn't like the YGO manga... The pictures were a bit disproportioned, and in the first chapters, Yami looked too creepy with those eyes |

I'm less than impressed with Buso Renkin so far, not for what it's "trying to be," but because I've found the fight scenes (save for the one at the end of volume two) and overall story to be extremely boring. I really enjoy the comedic/school life moments, but I fear the series will shift more away from that. It'll take a lot for me to quit reading it, because I'm a fan of Watsuki, but I find it hard to believe it will be a really great series for me. I guess I'll just hold out for his next work. The only series I can think I've read recently that I didn't like at all was Suzuka. I think the series would've been a good romance series, since I liked the sports and quiet main character interactions, but I despise the pointlessness of the harem premise. It's not worth $14 a book, that's for sure. |

I'd post a link to the first chapter, but that's a no-no here. |

Wow, was "My Balls" actually commercially released here in English? Or is that a scanlation?

I can't find "My Balls" anywhere. Has anybody seen them? And in case you didn't know, I'm talking about the manga. I can't find it on the encyclopedia.
Seriously where are they?(The volumes) |

There's a scan out of the first chapter, which is where those images came from. I don't believe any others are out yet, but since I can't post a link, you'll either have to find 'em yourself, or contact me outside of the forum.
