When watching Naruto last night, a box popped up on Cartoon Network twice saying there will be a new episode of Naruto next week! Also, if you check the schedule at cartoonnetwork.com. you can see that Naruto will continue airing with new episodes after episode 52 (last night's episode)! The online schedule seems a little messed up right now, but that should probably be fixed soon...

Anyway, thank you, Viz Media and Cartoon Network, for not shooting yourselves in the feet!

Let's all party like it's William's birthday.

Sorry, it's just that I'm happy too that Naruto will always show on Toonami. I'm glad that the series will never end. I gess mabey whoever said that Naruto season one will be over mabey made a mistake and didn't realize (either that or mabey he was drunk).

Aw, crap. I may be wrong about this whole thing.

I just checked what is considered the "second season" on TV.com, which is half of the "first ~52 season", and they list it as ending on episode 53, with an air date of episode 53 on September 30, 2006, then the episodes after that not having US air dates.

Perhaps episode 53, and not episode 52 is the end of the "first season" of Naruto for us, so we really just have to wait and see.

Better yet, we should email Cartoon Network and Viz Media to keep new episodes airing!

I guess we're all going to Hell, then. Sad

Good bye, Naruto episodes. Hope we'll see you in TV Show Heaven.

Dude, Naruto is not going to be gone forever. They need to time to dub new episodes, no they need to put the snow on hiatus. It's WAY too popular to be taken off, trust me Wink It'll be back soon, probaly by the end of the year.

You must have never watched American TV before in your life if you don't know what RERUNS are.

Everyone always does this!

No one ever said it is going to go away forever, but losing it for a few months is absolutely horrible and terribly undesirable! Can't you understand that?

I've watched American TV like The Simpsons, Family Guy, Spongebob Sqaurpants, The Boondocks, American Dad, Power Rangers, etc. And I know what reruns are. I just wanted CN and VIZ Media to continue showing new episodes of Naruto.

You're an idiot to suggest that.

Perhaps it has to do with the fact that I respect the creators?

You may not understand morals, but they definitely exist.

Hey, it's this discussion all over again!

Rather than repeat what I have said in the last discussion, I will say that I hope that they start airing reruns of Naruto and the series dies out in the states within two weeks. Yes, I like the show, but apparently reruns of the English dub will cause the series to expire rather quickly. The obvious smart means to save the show is to hastily catch the show up to wherever Japan is currently at and then simultaneously air the Japanese and English versions at the exact same second so we are all caught up.

I still don't understand this whole idea that because it is anime it should be exempt from standard American broadcasting practices. Somebody fill me in?

No one asked for a complete list of what you watch that isn't anime. Besides VIZ Media is busy dubbing new episodes so the fans will be happy. Would you rather they rush through it so it looks like something 4kid$ made? So don't be so childish and if you want to see more Naruto, download it form YouTube or buy the subs like I do. It's much easier than watching the same episodes over and over, wondering when the new episode will be on TV.

Sure morals exist. I even used to watch Naruto on CTN untill I realized the dubs were torture. How can you stand it. The voiiceess aarrreeee aaaalllllll slllooooowweddddddd dooooowwwwnnnn. They sound mental or something. Either that or the people who do the dubbing try extra hard to sound American.

But yeah I understand your reasons with sticking to CTN, but couldn't you get a legal Subbed DVD off of Amizon or something? The dubs are just...argh i wanna kill myself.
