That's fantastic! Any chance of it being released theatrically somewhere in the midwest? Chicago, perhaps?

THANK YOU JESUS!!! I've been waiting for a month to see those times! I'm sooooo grateful that it's not on the 25th, because I have to help my brother pack for college that day. Now I can have him hitch me a ride to the ImaginAsian (which I tried looking for on Sunday in NY, but I found out I was going in the opposite direction, so I gave up). Thank you, thank you! God, I've been anticipating this moment for a while now. I'm gonna buy some tickets on the theatre's website, and I'll be all set for this! They've had the date as "TBD" at that theatre for at least 3 weeks, and it's been killing me every time I look at it, but now I can look at it and squeal in excitement! Very Happy Very Happy

(Wow, I sound like a horny school-girl chasing after the gay guy in NSYNC!)

Yea the movie is freaking awesome, they showed it at Otakon this year and I enjoyed it very much. Watching it with 4000 people is very interesting everyone is cheering the main characters along.

I had the same experience at AX, that was part of the excitement was being a part of crowd and cheering and yelling. Was your theater packed just like AX, I mean it's seem like everyone and their dog was there....I couldn't believe that many people wanted to see the FMA movie, I figured everyone would raise their nose and complain about how it not subtitled.
Till next time,

hmmm,

Does the movie pick up where the TV left off?

I want to see the movie but the final TV volume doesn't come out on DVD until September 26.

I'm assuming just from the fact that I've seen the trailer at random cons about 10 times already that I've already spoiled a lot of what was going to happen in the TV series.

fxg97873:

I haven't seen the movie yet, but from what I understand it is basically the end of the series. Which is why I want to see it so bad.

Dangit. Crying or Very sad

I wanted to see it so badly. But why did they pick a screwy day like Thursday to have it? It would make more sense to put it on the weekend when less people are working..

I'm really happy it's not the 25th too! Thursday works out perfectly for me. I'm so excited! I've already preordered my tickets and everything. Mr. Green

Stupid funimation, any theatre is 2.5 hours from me. The mass and ny ones are the closest. I guess i'll just buy it.

I hope it includes some Houston theaters....

Even though ADV shows anime every Tuesday at the Alamo Draft House, I don't think they have a monopoly for the place.

Most ADV fans are Funimation fans too so please feel welcomed to add FMA movie dates to Houston!
