Hi ... hope it's ok if a forum newbie starts a thread. (Dunno what the caste system around here dictates.)
My question is this: If Hollywood was going to make a live-action film version of your favorite anime, and you were in charge, who would you hand-pick to portray the cast? I have absolutely no idea whom I'd choose for Trigun... |

For the live Eva film, I'd love it if they got Alais Resnais to direct. He'd be perfect, so it won't happen. Dominique Swain as Asuka, even though everyone else wants Kirsten Dunst (who'd be good, I'll grant you.) For the rest, I don't care; just cast good people who can play the parts.

no kidding *barfs* she doesn't look like Asuka enough (I guess them makup artists will work wonders), and if her acting in the Eva movie would be like in Spiderman, I wouldn't go see it EVER |

What about Paul Walker for Vash? (even though I don't really care for Paul Walker) I could see him in a red coat and yellow glasses, choking down some doughnuts...
And, going back to the Eva live action, perhaps Jessica Bowman? |

I think that is a comment on Robotech rather than a comment on the actors.

If i had to pick someone to be Vash I'd pick Dolph Lundgren because sean and paul r not serious enuf to b vash.
