All right, we're hearing scare threats against a mangaka, and then this.
I think some fans are taking their hatred or obsessions too far as to even wreak havoc or do a Chapman. |

I believe this is a wise move on Mrs. Tanaka's part.

Those over zealous overly nosy fans they have in Japan stalking those idols makes it a dangerous place to live. At least most of the stalkers it seems aren't stupid enough to go as far as that guy did. I think Chobits is the 1st time I heard her voice as Chii. Wonderful voice.
Anyway, I have Stalkers here in Texas the Capital of Stalkers for the USA. All we have done is live here and we are stalked by people with microwave guns and house vibration equip that prevents us from sleeping long (not talking about car stereos). So in Japan I am now going to say those popular voice actors and actresses need to hire body guards capable of finding hidden cameras and mic's as well as dealing with those shooting electric weapons at them which cause injuries to show up much later in the dna. I am glad she was not injured directly by him. |

While few actually act them out, such as the criminal bastard in this case, many more share those bad or evil intentions, but are often too scared to act them out.
Being arrested and sent to prison has a way of doing that. Meek, miserable, lowlife cowards have come out of the woodwork and have posted anonymously on the Tanaka Rie Part 118 thread at 2ch - often the cesspool of anonymous, hate-filled bigots, racists, and other sewage in Japan on the Internet - taking glee and having fun at Rie Tanaka being attacked. What kind of scum takes joy in an innocent person's suffering in real life? Judging by those posts, even if that criminal suspect gets put away, Rie Tanaka has a right to be fearful for her life. |
