Man, that trailer sounded like some fandub. Totally amateurish... Though I can't imagine many people would be watching a show like this in a dub so it doesn't make sense to spend a lot of time and money on it.

I like the choices of Karbowski, Saxton and Williams and look forward to hearing the new people in FT. I guess some sort of character profile will be done about Pantherlilly for the movie since he doesn't show up until after the Oracion Seis arc...

I know. FUNi and their idiotic policy to dub everything (Sentai's policy of having dubs in all BD releases is idiotic too). I do not have anything against dubs, but not all anime needs one.
FUNi and all other R1 distributors need to stop forcing dubs down our throats. Dubs work fine in action/adventure anime but not on otaku-centric shows.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you're being sarcastic.
The dub sounds just fine to me. I've already got my pre-order and look forward to enjoying it fully in dubbed form when I get it.

No one is forcing the dub down your throat, if you don't like the dub then it's as simple as that.

No. I am being serious. On the one had I feel happy for the English dub actors, who can still get work. On the other hand, otaku-centric shows, like Haganai seems to be, sound too forced in English.
I am actually hoping FUNi releases Robotics;Notes on BD. But I woldn't fault FUNi if they did not give it a dub. I think it is fine to like and support dubs. But forcing dubs on everything is idiotic and a waste of money.
You might not believe it but I am also thinking in the economic health of FUNi and Sentai (the two bigest R1 licensors). I want them to be more selective when deciding what to dub (especially FUNi). It makes all the sense in the world to dub popular shows that are more likely to sell well. But dubbing niche and otaku-centric titles (that might not sell well) seems like a poor business decision.

Yozora's voice made me cringe.

Seriously, it sounded robotic, like someone just reading off a script. Once I heard her first lines I rolled my eyes and knew the rest was going to be terrible.
I'm a huge Haganai fan but I could never suffer through a dub like that no matter how much I like a show.

Sena seemed closer to the right voice, but Yozora needs that deep nasty tone in her voice.

You know how people are always complaining that Funi doesn't use enough new actors in their dubs? Perhaps this is the reason why they don't use newbies more often.

I'm sorry, but I'm pretty sure they don't need you to worry about them. Funi has never not dubbed something and they're doing just fine.
And for the record if it wasn't dubbed I wouldn't be buying it.

Is it impossible to get new talent that doesn't suck?
