They should get Bump of Chicken to do the theme song again if this is a sequel ( I don't see what else it could be)

Hate to expect the worst, but SE has made it so on so many occasions. Not keeping my expectations high.

I remember SE said they don't believe there is enough people to buy this game in west for them to release it here. Vita is selling horrible in the west too.

They are not Atlus, they are not interest in 50k of sales.

No, it's Sony's fault the game hasn't released here.

I think they did not release it because of the cost of translating the script and how the PlayStation Portable wasn't selling well in English regions. For example, Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker had good sales but they were lower than the ones from previous games.

It's up for debate at this point square-enix like sega has seen the failure of psp in the west and does not want to risk loosing money on it's titles. However what gets me is that square-enix of america did in fact have a translation in progress for type-0 and it was near completion. They just shelved the progress around 80-90% last year. This still makes no sense to me whatsoever.

But that's not Sony's fault. It's not their fault that software sales are the problem.

It's not that the PSP sold bad at all, no in fact it sold quite well for a portable, especially in the beginning. It's because for whatever reason software sells basically went down the crapper after it's first two years. And thus publishers were quite worrisome about releasing stuff.

And no, I'm actually pretty sure PW did pretty terrible in America. Did really well in Japan though.

And I don't think that Type 0 rumor that it was translated at all is true, unless you got an actual trustworthy link.

You would be amazed how the things game companies do with beta's, translations, scrapping games etc. I know it's more of rumor right now until some solid proof comes out. Still take a look at all of the recent leaked beta's for old games in the past 3-5 years alone.

A 3DS version is the only possible way this game will ever see US shores. However im not sure anyone would want to pay the price of porting it.

No I really wouldn't be as I'm already pretty aware of things like with Mother and what not.

I'm just wondering if there's any actual talk about Type 0 as I haven't heard anything.

I think Square has given up on handheld games in North America. Bravely Default is only getting brought over because Nintendo is handling the localization and publication.

No, seriously, it was Sony. It's been said on record, they refuse to have it published.
