It was only a matter of time really. Even though it hasn't passed 100 chapters yet, you would have to be really incompetent to f*ck up adapting this into an anime.

i do agree that they would adapted it eventually but i say give it another 30 to 50 chapters before saying there is going to be a anime

Yay! While I haven't been as enthused about the manga as of late (do we really need all the padding and one-off adventure stuff?) the first 2/3 of Nisekoi is pretty good.
I wonder how long it'll be? Since the manga is still ongoing I can't imagine it'll be a long-running series like Jump's other titles, so maybe 1 to 2 cour? Depending on the pacing I imagine that would put the "ending" at either the end of the school trip or just past the school play.

Oh Christ... you HAD to remind me of THAT abomination... well to be honest given the kind of series Nisekoi is you would have to suck HARD as a director to screw up a high-school love comedy...but now that I think about it there are a few areas where it can go wrong but I'll just hope for the best.

I haven't read this yet, but considering it's on the world's most famous manga magazine, it was only a matter of time. The question I have is, who's doing it? The article doesn't say.

Well, this is just going off the poster. There's supposed to be "Big News" coming in an upcoming issue of Jump, which will likely give more details.

I'm kinda hoping the anime doesn't add any fanservice. Lack of it is what makes Nisekoi what it is.

I don't think it'll be one of those anime that just keep going until they run out of material to adapt. I expect Nisekoi to be adapted like Bakuman or Medaka Box, except with maybe 12/13 episodes per season like Medaka instead of Bakuman's 25/26 per season. Nisekoi's romcom style lends itself to this format.

Yeah, I was expecting this news for a week.
But I won't watch it because before one of the big arcs Chitoge was downright annoying imo.

76 chapters is PLENTY of material for a 12-26 episode series.

Which means it'll be a late night anime which relies on disc sales and since it's a Jump series it'll flop unless they boost the fanservice levels.
