If you have this could you confirm something for me in chapter 3;
http://goodokbad.com/assets/images/books/brides_03.jpg [EDIT: Changed to a link because the pic pushes the edge of content acceptable to show in forums. - Key] Is the art censored like in this picture? Long story; I've been thinking about picking up this series for quite some time but resisted because of the pricing. Fortunately it seems to be quality > quantity so it's not really a bother to pick it up as it goes along. I searched for some shots of the volume and this just happened to appear in the image results as part of a review. So basically, did the reviewer edit this image himself, or is it already censored? Also, does it read from left to right or something... the 'version' I read is the other way around... I'm confuddled about that one. Many thanks. |

Heya
I can confirm that the image in question is not censored in the book, there are clearly drawn nipples in the copy i have. That image you posted also appears to be flipped as its the opposite way around than it is in the book. I highly recommend the series its interesting and the art is gorgeous. The price is a little more than the usual manga but it really is a quality product, i can attest to that having volumes 1-4. |

I second the recommendation. The books are very high quality, definitely worth the extra cost over a normal manga volume.

Thanks very much for the prompt responses, and apologies to the mods!
It appears the reviewer must've did several edits without stating. I'll be purchasing these soon then, and while I'm not particularly a fan of the higher prices it's Kaoru Maori, I regret having never picked up Emma seeing the grotesque costs it would cost just to get used condition - won't make that mistake again, but it was more of a publisher rep issue (see CMX). Yen Press have never let me down and it appears they'll continue to be my instant purchase pub, I should have had faith! EDIT; They did let me down with the Spice and Wolf cover art actually but that was fixed quickly enough and Haruhi has both available even if it costs a few pennies extra for hardback. [/rant] Many thanks. |

no worries i didn't get any CMX manga for the same reason, they were a very haphazard outfit.
