Pretty relaxing episode 4 but damn, that ending...
Also, I hope there will be a Tsukumo episode in the future as her screen time is quite short this week.

That was the most scattershot infodump I've ever seen. Also, while I'm a fan of the shaggy hair in the face look, it would be nice if every male character didn't have the exact same lobster claw bangs.

What are you talking about, the doctor has a different hair style. Although their hair is pink and they picked up a random cute animal, she could just have a deep voice and flat chest, Akari is a feminine name after all. But the doctor just feels like a less interesting version of Dr. Thunderland anyway, just change hair colour and throw on an eyepatch. |

Ok, fine, the doctor and one other guy are the exceptions, but looking at the OP, there are more yet to be introduced that do, and the girls who are playing off the look make up for the two exceptions.

Episode 5
spoiler[So Gareki's history is coming to haunt him. It's not right what has been done to Gareki's friends. All the senseless killings just to serve someones agenda. I was glad Gareki came to his senses and maned up. Pretty dark episode this time.] Episode 6 spoiler[Some new characters emerged. Interesting new info about the circus was revealed. Their purpose seems more clear now, even though they don't give me the good guys vibe. Plot was kinda slow this time, more about reveling new info.] |

Episode 7
Yay, my favorite character Tsukumo is back on screen and looking good (not in that weird horse outfit though...). However, she looks great in her spoiler[mermaid princess] outfit! I anticipated that the performance with spoiler[Tsukumo in the tank wasn't going to go exactly as planned. Lol, I liked how Iva just made up some lines and carried it on for the audience. And of course, the audience are idiots and believed it was all part of the show :p] Fun episode, I enjoyed it. |

Karneval time!
It was nice watching them have some fun. Especially after the events of the previous episodes. spoiler[The malfunctioning rabbit] caused some unexpected problems. Guess there's always that one thing that ruins everything. |

What are you talking about? The horse outfit was awesome, it is one of those things that are so un-cute that they become moe. Especially with the rehearsals. But I do have to question the whole idea of not spoiler[breaking the glass, like saying it could hurt the audience when there was plenty of room behind her]. Wasn't she already spoiler[panicking for Nai to hear her worries]? But after saying humans can not spoiler[hold their breaths for long, the back up takes long enough, which then apparently take their time before running straight to the rescue, and there was even a fight with the robot]. And it was not like she was spoiler[gasping for breaths like you would expect from being stuck in a tank for over four minutes]. Oh, and the girl blamed the spoiler[guy with the glasses instead of whoever from the First Ship would have had responsibility over the rabbit, like the small girl who spent the entire episode being a pain in the butt, or say a stage director.] Okay that last bit sounds a little ridiculous out of context. Also fairly thin rope for party decorations can apparently easily hold up two people without any noticeable strain. |

Guess there's always that one thing that ruins everything.] Episode 8 spoiler[Their little blunder at the Karneval last time got them an interesting task. Yukkin was pretty cute ^^ Gareki was his grumpy self as usual.. Experiments related to Nai are pretty concerning. The fight in the woods was interesting to watch.] |

Something that continues to bother me about this show -apart from its lack of direction and general boredomness- is how, in spite of having such a vibrant color palette and such a bright and colorful cast, all of the important scenes happen in the darkness. The battle in episode two is outside the ship, in the night. The three episodes in Gareki's hometown transpire in the night, these snow episods are always inside dark caves, snow storms, or dark houses in the night, again.
Is anyone else sick of this? The least I expected of a series that seems like an explosion of color is episode after episode of dull and dark colors. |

Hadn't noticed, but you're right. The only thing I'm sick of is the claw hair.
Well, that and waiting for plot to happen.

spoiler[Nai and the rabbits' grooming were cute. He's totally adorable and my fav character. Probably because of his big red eyes. The little incident with Kiri brought some action into this episode. Well, at least Tsukumo and Yogi are fine.] |
