The copy of Place to Place (aka Acchi Kocchi) that I pre-ordered from TRSI arrived yesterday. I was happy to hear that the series had been licensed, but it's not a good sign when the name of one of the main characters is consistently misspelled on the DVD cover. (Dear Sentai: つみき = Tsumiki, not Tsukimi). Hopefully this error does not extend to the subtitles as well.

Came back from Best Buy earlier today. Picked up the Tenchi Muyo movie collection. I never saw the two "Tenchi in Love" movies. I did watch daughter of darkness when I was a kid, and still have the VHS, so Im lookin forward to relivin some childhood
(On a non-Anime note, I also picked up Paranorman and Kung Fu Panda 2 on this trip too)

Ordered the Nausicaa manga box set, and it's supposed to be shipping in the next couple of days.
I'm looking forward to perusing it.

Are you talking about the new box set Viz released? If so, may I ask where you ordered it from? I ordered it back in late November from RightStuf, and I'm still listed as "On Order from Manufacturer." Two reprint dates later, I'm starting to wonder if I'll ever get my hands on one of these.

Two separate orders over the last fortnight from the Book Depository:
In stock:
Bakuman v. 9-18
Mardock Scramble (novel)
Pre-ordered:
Attack on Titan v. 5
Bakuman v. 19-20
Btooom! v. 2
Cage of Eden v. 10
Children of the Sea v. 5
Claymore v. 22
Flowers of Evil v. 6
Gunslinger Girl v. 15
Higurashi v. 22
Kitchen Princess Omnibus v. 4
Knights of Sidonia v. 3
Limit v. 5-6
Slam Dunk v. 28
The Strange Tale of Panorama Island
Sunny v. 1
Utsubora
A note on the Kitchen Princess omnibuses – the first two contained two volumes each, but the third was a 3-in-1. I was surprised when I got it, as it still incorrectly cites 400 pages as the length on Amazon and elsewhere. The upshot is that the fourth omnibus should also be a 3-in-1 and thus finish the series. Works out cheaper I guess, but won’t look quite as tidy on the shelf.

I've been eyeing Patlabor TV for a while now, and since Maiden Japan/Sentai got the TV series (and some OVAs that never got released before, work on them later), the old CPM release went down in price, making it far more affordable for me on the second hand market! The set I bid/won are the three boxsets new in shrink! Now so long as USPS doesn't mess it up...

I don't understand. What wasn't released?
I'm not trying to nitpick or anything, but I don't think I understand your post properly and I want to.

There are no unreleased Patlabor OVAs that I'm aware of. As far as I know there were three different releases: the original 7 OVA set, the Patlabor TV series and the New Files OVAs. Oh and the three movies, obviously.

^Oh, I was unaware that the 7 OVA series coming out the 30th had been released before. Thanks for that correction!
