Where can I purchase some acid to go along with this? Making a 35mm print must be the most expensive part of what they're asking for, shame that pretty much no other animation will ever be shot on film again, and this only works because they're clearly drawn and colored on paper.

I kind of want this as my screen saver, but then I probably wouldn't get anything done if that happened.
It looks like a cool project I hope he is able to get the funding to finish it. |

I guess they could've gone with high-resolution scans or HD video cameras, but chose film for better archival quality and future-proofing. Some classic films have been scanned at 4K or even 8K resolution for HD video mastering. |
