Naruto-Well this was an interesting one I guess. It would have sucked though if we didn't find out Sasuke's has no regard for the title of Chunin. I am also intersted to see how Sasuke is going to beat this guy if he can't use his chakra, when his special ability seems to be draining physical strength.
IGPX-I don't think what The Rocket did was cheating, and those guys on the other team need to grow up. The Rocket is simply another incarnation of The Intimidator and they need to stop being crybabies. Takeshi needs to stop being a bitch and start wiseing up to old man. I am pretty sure that that other team(the one who really does cheat) is behind Takeshi's err, but thats no excuse for acting like a little girl. Also I am digging the soundtrack, for those who don't know(all of you) I am a big fan of electronica, and it pleases me that every track they play, I either own on CD or vinyl(granted they play pretty popular tracks but still). Eureka 7-Good EP, I see some better relationship forming. Holland has gotten infinitely more intersting, as well as the girl he's with(forget name). You know it is hard for me to remember it all, by that time I am getting tuckered out, I know I saw the whole ep but its hard for me to remember the details. It kinda pisses me off when they run a re-run of Inuyasha before E7. I just don't understand the logic, but hey what do I know.(edit: Also it seems to me most of the Gecko State is ex-military, so that throws another wrench in. Naruto- Finally were getting to the fights! I'm really looking forward to Hinata fight, and Sakuras also! I've been watching the fansubs and man up untill the filler stuff this how really starts getting good. I can't wait for the next few weeks!!
IGPX- the rocket didn't cheat, but it sure as hell was a cheap shot. If I was cunningham I'd been pissed to, probably more at myself and team for not seeing that comming a mile away. I mean it was obvious they were up to something, they should have been on guard more. But anyway, Takeshi needs to wake up and realize that he's being fucked with. That video game should have been the first clue. And his team needs to see that something is going on, and take some steps to fix it. I hope team white snow gets whats comming to them. Eureka 7 - Finally the show is staring to build some steam! Now were getting to the good stuff, the stuff that is troubling Holland and why he's such a dick to Renton all the time should be comming out soon. Andspoiler[ one of my fav parts of the show, Renton leaving the ship with out telling anyone. That whle arc was pretty good I thought, Eureka blaming herself and Holland for a while for him leaving. Good stuff.] |

The Naruto episode REALLY draws parallels to Dragonball Z. It's the exact same episode as in the World Tournament arc where it took an entire episode to draw names and prepare for the matches. I can't stand how slowly this show moves anymore.

InuYasha, out of the anime series in rotation at the moment, is a proven attraction-- that's why it opens the Saturday bloc on Adult Swim. I'm surprised that Season 1 of GITS:SAC filled the gap followed by the ending of 2nd Gig.
Of the series mentioned, I can only comment on E7. I was expecting Talho, Holland's girlfriend and pilot, to go ballistic when she saw spoiler[what Renton had done to her uniform], but instead she became misty with memories of the past. Is it me, or does Gidget sound like Eureka's children? After seeing E7 up to this point, I think Mathieu (Matthew?) sounds as he does because his ancestry is Brazilian-- I see his clothes, and I see fans of the World Cup team. After several thousand years, language and vocals change. Now that most of the main characters have been established-- on both sides of the conflict-- we should see some plot development. Now that Anemone has been introduced, we should see more action from Dewey's side. |

I think DBZ is in a class by its self. They made drawing out a fight an art form. If Naruto did it like DBZ did it then they would just now be concluding the fight with Zabuza. After about 6 episodes with a version of "Zabuza defeated!" or "Team seven loses?!" in the title. I think DBZ went a lot slower than any other show i've seen. |

Naruto-Finally, the prelimenaries begin! Can't wait to see Shino fight as well as Kankuro (even though I have seen the fansubs, I still love the two fights they participate in
 )
IGPX-A great episode, glad they atleast tied instead of lose again. I don't think what Andre did was cheating...no way. But it was original
Eureka 7-That "girls" name is Talho  Yeah, no as good episode as the last one, but still good Yay, finally Anemome is introduced  Her dub voice is good too

Since the first couple of episodes, I KNEW that spoiler[an alter-Eureka character would appear on the antagonist's side. Notice she looks exactly like Eureka with the exception of her hair color?] I am definitely intrigued on seeing where this goes. |

I haven't been going with the fansubs, but it is good to know that this is where it picks up some steam again.
I didn't think of this, thanks for making another interesting element for me.
