Is it possible that some other (unmentioned) channel may have gotten it? Perhaps one that liked the theme/genre or is trying to break out into anime/cartoons or whatever?
... heh, it's kinda funny that we know it's tv-bound, but can't figure out who has it.

Who knows, maybe Scifi finally decided anime was worth showing again. I doubt it, but you never know. I have a feeling that when it gets announced we're going to be kicking ourselves for not figuring it out sooner. Emerje |

Does anyone know the censorship laws? Because if someone can tell us (the blut simple term) Then maybe we can see what channel it will fit in. Now everyone knows that if its going to be shown during the day when kids might be viewing it there is to be no:
1) Sexual material 2) Violent language 3)Violence (cartoon violence is ok E.x. getting hit over the head with a hammer and getting up again) 4) No Drug reference or drugs ingeneral (If I missed anything, please tell me) So what I'm asking really is that if there are any censorship law when it comes to late night T.V.? If some one can tell us then we can see what Chobits has and then narrow it down to a few possible stations. Whoever knows the series Chobits knows that it has: 1) Sexual material 2) Violence 3) Adult language (I.e. swearing) (If I'm wrong please correct me) Well thats all I have to say, so If someone can find that out that would be great. -Holy Vampire 32

My guess that it'll probaly wind up on the International Channel or AS. I doubt it'll wind up on The Anime Network because it's mostly ADV titles and Pioneer's a pretty big company...they dont need any help from ADV (Yes I know Boogiepop Phantom was on there but that was put out by a smaller studio). There probaly will be some editing but not as long as nobody hacks it up too bad that's fine. Besides, that's the one show I am collecting on a regular basis anyway so I have the DVDS.
I have a feeling this might wind up on AS. A month ago, I would've never thought FLCL would wind up on there but it did...so who knows? |
