Well I have Love Hina and I need Chobits, I enjoyed both of them a lot. If you liked both of them I would highly recommend Fruits Basket. The comedy in it is hilarious. You'll really enjoy it a lot.

Kare Kano is a good show to check out, too, for romance & comedy. I think it's one of those anime that's good to show someone whose looking to get into the show.
Also, if you can stomach it, Gravitation. If your a homophobe, stay away. If not, then prepare yourself for quite a hilarious twist on "boy meets boy". |

May I suggest Ai Yori Aoshi? It's a little more "real" kind of romance. Made me feel good about myself, and to "do my best." I'm very glad I saw it.
Also what about the Ah! My Goddess series/ova? Good romantic comedy. These made me feel good too. There's Please! Teacher, and Please! Twins. Romantic, but to me not as funny, still good however. These were a bit disturbing to me, as I am a good old Puritanical American, and am unused to the concepts shown in these anime. Good for cultural bonus points! |

Ahhh...forgot all about Kare Kano, I really recommend that series as well. Very entertaining. If you have Comcast On Demand it plays on there. |

I recommend that you use a little thing called punctuation. Your post is practically unreadable because it's just one big run-on jumble of words. |

I've also only seen Love Hina and Chobits so these recommendations also suite me as well. Hell I could have made the first post, only i would have used correct sentence structures. |

Well, DearS isn't exactly romance, but it is similar to Chobits, perhaps similar enough to be a rip-off. Boys Be is a romance anime that's slightly more realistic than Love Hina and Chobits, though it still has some fanservice to meet those etchi needs. Or, if you want the sad/tragic side of things, there's Rumbling Hearts, which will be released later this year on DVD.

I personally didn't like DearS, it got really boring with no plot at all. I also liked Onegai Teacher + Twins, and Ai Yori Aoshi. Good ecchi, good looking girls, and i personally liked the plot... even though Ai Yori Aoshi got boring also |

LOL Im surprised that someone didn't mention Boys over Flowers. Now mind you this one is kinda more "girly" than the ones you watched. But if your looking to try the more feminine side of things with good comedy and romance than try this one. Also another one would be Marmalade Boy (More old fashion anime in a good way but this isnt a bad one too). Gl in your search for the "next thing".

Eh, Kiminozo (a.k.a. Rumbling Hearts) holds a completely different tone than something like Love Hina. Many, if not most, people enjoy Love Hina for the fact that it is a light-hearted comedy romance series (and...also wishing they could be as lucky as Keitaro...). I don't think Kiminozo has much in common with something like Chobits or Love Hina, except for the fact that it is romance and has some semblence of a love triangle (except in Kiminozo's case, this turns out to be a huge problem...). If you enjoyed Love Hina, you will probably also enjoy Mahou Sensei Negima. It's by the same manga-ka (Ken Akamatsu), and the overall tone is pretty much the same as Love Hina, and the character designs are more or less identical. There's the same craziness, there's relatively the same amount of fanservice, cute girls, and a clueless protagonist who resembles a chibi-Keitaro. It's less romance driven, but other than that, it is something a Love Hina fan will probably enjoy. |

For those of you that are Love Hina fans, have any of you tried the online Love Hina dating sim game? A site called Armor Games is carrying it.
Tried it out, and it's an interesting little game that you can easily lose yourself in for a couple of hours. Lots of opportunities to fight, romance, and build relationships. Probably a bit cruder than the series (there's a lotta swearing and drug use) but still amusing. |
