I'm so glad this is finally getting a DVD release. Definitely my favourite Digimon season by far. I have the episodes recorded on a bunch of VHS tapes. Once I finally have this DVD release in my hands, maybe I'll finally be able to throw those out....maybe.

No subtitle option? Sad I'd gladly pay $100 or more if it had subtitles and was uncut. But I'm still glad this series is getting a dvd release. It deserves it.

If I were to watch any season of Digimon, this is the one I'd watch...

I should probably work on that.

These days, it seems like a DVD/Blu-Ray release is the market saying "you had better watch this quick" because it'll likely go out of print if you don't kick it higher in your backlog.

Proof that even shows designed to sell video games and toys can be pretty damn good.

No Subbed = No buy from me because I'm deaf. Sad

I like the scene where 3 characters/digimon did consecutive BIO-Merge Digivolution against the pink-slime-whatever-it-is.

It would be kinda cool if this new release could have both dub and sub. I already recalled Digimon Tamers was streamed uncut in Japanese with subs on Hulu.

Whoever subtitled those episodes did a terrible job...

I didn't get chance to watch Digimon Tamers on Hulu yet, but really the subtitle is that bad. Well I don't know who to blame, Toei??

Best Digimon series by far. I'm stoked that this is getting a DVD release.

I hope it will be available with both sub and dub.

A dual-language release might not work as while Tamers got away with stuff that seasons 1 and 2 weren't able to, didn't they still have to edit buildings destructions due to current events like many action cartoons that came out late 2001-2002?
