Hello,
I'm here in Tokyo, Japan (for 10 more days) reading manga and watching anime. At the end of Gunnm in Ultrajump this week there is an announcement by Ultrajump. It requires a translator. It is an FYI and mentions June and August. It also mentions Ultrajump MegaMix Vol.2. If you need a better photo, feel free to ask. I wasn't quite sure where to post this, so I'm sending it to the forum and newsroom. If you post this, no need to mention me in the announcement since I'm only providing a copy of the announcement.

It will skip June, July, and August issues of Ultra Jump because the author was asked to draw a special cover and a short spinoff (of GUNNM Last Order) for Ultra Jump Megamix. It will then resume serialization in the September issue. Period.

Your super fast translation is very much appreciated dormcat. I'm glad that there's such a big fanbase behind Gunnm. I have to say that my trip to Japan was partially to find out where this storyline is going. We haven't seen Gally in 9 phases or something. Now I see... spoiler[I still have no clue what's going on from 7 on.

Monumension, I appreciate the offer. I'd be happy to hear an explanation. I'm planning on translating it word for word once I get my kanji skills up, but I'm still at the reading level of Shounen Weekly Jump. I'm still waiting for Viz to publish Vol 8.
