Yup, some of those words in the title can't be correct.

Still too much for sub-only releases.

Not to mention, "Standard Edition" being plastered on the cover just makes the customers feel like they're being cheap. Not exactly inviting.

I saw the words on the Enma and Arakawa releases, but I didn't notice them on Bunny Drop's cover... ^^;

Would you prefer to see "Slightly Less Expensive Edition", "Basic Edition" or "Compact Edition" on the cover, instead? Should they put an ugly banner on them, as Funi does with their SAVE line?

In defense of the S.A.V.E. line, all those covers are reversible, and have the name of the show using it's real font on the spine, unlike the Anime Classics which all use Times New Roman.

And yeah, I agree that this is still way too pricey for sub-only, in particular the Bunny Drop set. If they lowered it down to $39.99 - $41.99, I'd bite, but for a sub-only set with no bells and whistles, it's just simply too much. I have a big problem with paying more for a show without a dub than I would for a show with one.

So when are they going to release a standard LE for Umineko. The only one selling is the Blu-Ray, and I have no need for that now.

I already picked up the Ghastly Prince Enma awhile back after the going to the panel at NYCC 2012. Since they stated that these their releases are sort of a one time deal. Meaning they won't be reprinted unless someone else picks it up.

Not all of the SAVE covers are reversible. Most are, especially the recent ones, but not all of them.
