At least this won't be a late starter unlike last season's Chuunibyou. I'm almost tempted to snack on mochi while I watch the premiere episode.

Unless the reviews from slice-of-life moé fans really suck, I'll almost certainly "blind buy" the physical release (preferably on bilingual Blu-Ray) based solely on how much I love K-On!.
(Yes, Tamako Market will also be streaming, but I'd rather experience it for the first time on physical media.)

I have to wonder if Sentai will ever get to releasing many of their titles on a physical format. I'm still waiting for that Kids on the Slope release date.

The last JP vol. for Kids was only released 3 months ago.
It's getting a dub as well, which adds extra time for the most part, so it might take a bit longer to release (May or June).
But the ealiest we'll see it, is the April solicitations (which is 6 months after the last JP vol. release) which will be coming out soon.

Last year's Hyouka and Chu-2 Byo have made me KyoAni's helpless little bitch. If they decided to create an anime based on their bowel movements, I'd probably watch. Kidding not.
Nice pick-up (I assume), Sentai!

Ok, right.
If it's later this year, that means no BD.
If no BD, that means no dub.
If there's no dub then why is this a get?
Oh, it'll be like Clannad and the dub/BD will follow up eventually. And double dipping for not only DVD to BD but also sub to dub; double-double dipping in one release. That would be a step higher than Clannad, actually.
Sentai, prove me wrong. Come on, please...

You shouldn't really trust the home video release time frames they give in the initial press release for simulcast licenses. They've been unrealistic before.
