To be honest, Jean Reno isn't even playing Doraemon in these commercials... He's just being Jean Reno, who is now so awesome that he has his own time machine & Anywhere Door.

I wish he'd start getting some good film roles again; the last thing I saw him in was Margaret which was filmed a long time ago, and even that was a small part.

Jean and Beat are two of my favorite actors, plus this commercial is just cool anyway. I've always loved you can find some of the oddest commercial in Japan with some well known foreign celebrities.

Huh, the last movie I saw that had Jean Reno in it was Sony, Dean Devlin, and Roland Emmerich's attempt at Godzilla back in 1998.
Nice to see he's still around. |

Together at last, this was pretty cool. Also, a quick look at imdb shows Reno has been keeping pretty busy.
