I don't care for FLCL, but then again I have no idea what is going on. I'll have to watch it a second time. I am impressed that it will air on AS though because it shows they are branching out and gives me hope that other wacky or slightly controversial shows will aired.
Has it been announced how much the content will be edited? |

From what I've heard, "FLCL" does touch on several sensitive issues, but then again Adult Swim shows "Family Guy". There's a very good chance the series will run virtually uncut. About the only thing that's really worrying everyone is the last episode, because it runs for 30 minutes and possibly means it'll have to be edited for time. Other than that, I got nothing. |

it would be a pity if they edit some perv jokes because that's what makes FLCL funny
i'm happy they'll broadcast it in tv, maybe it'll get more fans because it's the best anime ever made

To everyone who thinks this is the greatest anime ever, please explain the last three episodes to me. I don't want to spoil it for everyone who hasn't seen FLCL so just pm me or catch me when I'm on AIM - usually in the afternoons.

YAY!! My favorite anime is coming to Adult Swim, I'm so happy. But... I saw this before, in fact the news is kinda wearing down on excitement Meh. Oh, and it will play twice before being replaced by Inuyasha.

I think it'll show in its entirety, uncut content-wise and time-wise, because it's their favorite anime series next to Bebop. They've said it themselves.

Just picked up vol. 3. Watched all six episodes and finished a half-hour ago. Still fresh in head...
Honestly, I'm not sure if this'll go on unedited or not. spoiler[ Kamon in a Nazi outfit Quite a few bath scenes, esp. Ninamori's where her dad gives her the shampoo hat Lots of up close shots of Haruka's ass while in a towel The weird, creepy, mechanical vibrating Kamon massaging Haruka The scene where it's suggested Kamon's making out with Haruka Shot of Mamiya's panties coming off in ep. 4 Ninamori's bloomers coming off in ep. 3 Kisturubami's shredded uniform somewhat revealing in ep. 5 ] Honestly, I'm so surprised FLCL is going to Adult Swim. I'm also wondering how much of the jokes anyone's gonna get. You literally have to read the DVD liner notes to get everything. Without liner notes, much of the show's humor will be lost. |

I am happy that CN is intoducing a whole new generation the joys of smoking crack...
I was able to enjoy it without linier notes... Just had to watch it in slow motion to catch everything... |
