I saw an anime thread that had people showing their anime DVD collections so I thought I'd start one with manga.
Here's mine: ![]() The one on its side on top of Rave Master and Cardcaptor Sakura is Sandland. The red block covers a certain type of DVD I got online that I later learned here were not officially legal cough:bootleg:cough so I covered them. See the URL here: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b296/Animekid08/blockmanga.jpg And these are my favorite, they go on my desk: ![]() See the URL here: http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b296/Animekid08/DSC01902.jpg I know its small, I'm too cheap to buy any more except on certain occasions. Note: I think this is the first thread like this but if I'm wrong I'm sorry I'm been doing that a lot lately. |

Nice collection, also I don't know if its allowed but in this thread i think it'd be ok to list the titles and which volumes of the series you have. Just a thought though.

Not trying to be picky about your collection but if they were on shelves the pages wouldn't be as bent up as they are.
Here is an old picture of my collection. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v213/xTheRedCometx/DSCN0363.jpg |

Yeah, there was a thread like this a while ago that got locked. Who knows if this one will last. I lack a digital camera and the orginizational skills to find and put all of my crap in one place, so you'll never see a picture of my collection unless I get really inspired. |

I don't see what would be wrong with listing what titles are shown in the picture, like a caption. It would be useful, since there are some titles that can't quite be made out. Listing the volumes however would be a bit excessive. |

Maybe I read the question wrong, but it seem like he's asking if we can post a list instead of a picture of our collection. In the anime's "show your dvd collection thread" we have tons of noobie posting their list of anime instead with no picture even though it's mention time and time again do not a post a list of your collection because nobody really care for them. If you don't have a picture, please don't post your list. This also happen in many other anime foru. If you want to explain what anime you have in your picture, that should be okay, but post a picture first. ![]() |

Seem like the thread is kind of dead since we've gone way off topic. I'll probably start a new and improved "post your collection" thread later on with my whole collection. In the meantime, I'll just post some picture series I'm reading right now.
![]() One of my favorite shonen jump title because the humor and art blend really well together. Rereading it again since I got the newest volume release. ![]() I'm rereading Vagabond (for like the 3rd time) and Kenshin just for the heck of it of it. Vagabond is very good and I enjoy it thoroughly. It makes me wish that I can get the rest of Slam Dunk in book format. As for Kenshin, I'm currently still in near the end of Kyoto arc and the arc is kind of overrated. However, I have to get through it to see how good the Jinchuu arc is. I thought Kenshin's best volume so far was volume 7 and I had high hopes for the series to take a serious turn of event. But Volume 8 and beyond were very weak, imo. Some rant on following volumes: spoiler[Good character never stay dead after they're badly wounded (kenshin's master, the old ninja master). Kenshin must learn a "secret techique" and he does so....except the secret move and they he achive it came off as corny rather than cleaver. Ninja girl is still annoying as ever. Kenshin and friend must participate in a 1 on 1 tournament style fighting. The slapstick humor was getting way out of hand at times and make them look like idiots at times. ]. The Jinchuu arc better be really good or I'm gonna whoop somebody's ass. ![]() |

Okay, finally got around to taking a picture of my manga bookshelf, sorry for the poor quality, webcams don't take the best pictures.
![]() Here's a caption since it's hard to tell what things are, unless you recognize the blurry spins ![]() Top shelf: Chobits, RG Veda, Tokyo Babyon*, MARS* Middle: Imadoki*, Ceres: Celestial Legend*, Fushigi Yuugi, Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden Bottom: Gravitation*, Alice 19th*, Absolute Boyfriend, Excel Saga, The Queen's Knight, W Juliet, Dramacon, Azumanga Daoih, Candidate for Goddess, Sailor Moon I have a few other manga back at my parents' house, but nothing really worth mentioning, other than a few of the Gundam Wing ones (Battlefield of Pascifists, Episode Zero, and Endless Waltz).[img][/img][img][/img][img][/img] |

Ok so here's my collection.
Top shelf: ![]() From left to right is: Nausicaa Blade of the Immortal Domu Sexy Voice and Robo Akira Blue Spring (hard to see but it's there!) Black and White No. 5 - Yes that third volume is a japanese volume of No.5, volume 5 to be precise. When I go to bookoff I scour the shelves for No.5 volumes since they don't accept direct orders. Volume 5 is basically spoiler[a huge chase between No.3 and No.5 and No.5 seems to be having a hard time because No.3 has this badass robot suit.] Great volume. Second shelf: ![]() Crayon Shinchan - Recently deemed to be unsuitable for children by some bums in Japan, but hey I was raised on Shincan anime, and I'd like to think I turned out alright! Vagabond Bleach - Stopped collecting Eden Genshiken - Volume 1 is with my brother Smuggler Dragon head Berserk Third shelf: ![]() Usagi Yojimbo - Usagi Yojimbo rules! Phoenix Hikaru No Go Battle Angel Alita - Stopped collecting Full Metal Alchemist Eyeshield 21 Iron Wok Jan - Stopped collecting Blame Beck Dead End Fourth Shelf: ![]() Basically my Japanese tankos as I used to live in Japan (yes I can read them): One Piece - Still trying to get the last remaining volumes Sazae San - Not raw, translated volumes Tin Tin - Tin Tin rules, but it's in English Yu-Gi-Oh - I grew up on these when I was a kid and only now has the American fad for Yu-gi-oh died down. Geez Americans are slow. Nasu - Gotta support Kuroda! Black Jack - First 3 volumes of Tezuka's Black Jack Bottom Shelf: ![]() Lets and Go - A manga about kids and their little motorized toy cars. Pocket Monsters Special - An actually good pokemon manga! Usagi Yojimbo - More Yojimbo! Dragonball Z - Ah yes, my childhood was defined by DBZ. |

The 2 shelves have about 500 total. I have another 3-400 in the box and a good 2-300 at my in-laws house in Japan, plus maybe 50-100 English language releases there. |
