My brother recently bought the first GitS:SaC soundtrack, and I was having a look through the lyrics booklet. It lists the performer of "Run Rabbit Junk" as HIDE (All in caps like that). Now, according to the encyclopedia, Stand Alone Complex first started airing in 2002, which is four years after hide died Confused

. I haven't been able to find out anything else about the performer of that track, so does anyone know if it's someone else who happens to be using that name, or somehow it's actually him singing?

The ID tag of my mp3 backup copy of this song says:

Artist: Yoko Kanno/Tim Jensen

The former being the composer, the latter most likely being the performer.

i looked Run Rabbit Junk on the google search. apparently its performed by Yoko Kanno and Tim Jensen and that the vocals were HIDE. perhaps its a song he sung b4 he died.

The lyrics are by Tim Jennsen and the music is by Yoko Kanno, as far as I'm aware. I was just kinda surprised, since it seems like it was written specifically for the series, so I don't see how he could have sung it unless they were using samples of him or something, but that also doesn't make any sense because Tim Jennsen wrote the lyrics...

I think you are confusing the HIDE who performs this track, with hide. While I can't find any specific info on who HIDE is, it's definitely not hide.

Thanks, that's what I wanted to know. I thought the capitalisation was a bit strange, but it still seemed a little weird that there'd be another Japanese musician running around with that name (Didn't Hyde change his to avoid confusion? That's what I heard, anyway). But anyway, I just wanted to be sure since it seemed strange either way and I couldn't find out anything about this HIDE either...
