Everytime i read reviews i've always heard about "Cheesy J-pop songs" that open Anime shows. What songs are just so annoying or boring (or any other reason) that you always skip over or just go crazy listening to?
I'm sorry but i've haven't seen any songs that annoy me... yet

Any of the endings and intros past the first ones of Hunter X Hunter TV. The guy that sings them is just terrible. I think the name of the group was "Wino." He must be drunk if he wails notes like that. I'm also not digging the intro and ending for the GI Final OAV. It's j-pop sung by a guy, but his voice is very weak sounding. It would fit much better for a shoujo series, rather than a shounen one.

The opening and ending to Fruits Basket are both..just, ugh, boring and irritating. They both sound exactly the same too, which doesn't help.
I remember Getbackers having a couple less than stellar opening themes as well, but the 2nd season song by Pierrot totally makes up for it because Pierrot is rocktastic lovely. :D

I have never been able to stand "Love Me", the end theme from Yami no Matsuei. It's so... busy. The singer just seems to babble. It's really annoying.

The Berserk opening theme "Tell Me Why" is just plain horrible. It reeks of Engrish and is completely out of tune.

Can we nominate the horrible American counterparts as well? Cause most of them reek of Musak proportions that would make the mentally deranged sane again.

The opening song to The Galaxy Railways. The guys voice is just horrible and it has the worst rythm i've ever heard. I can't stand it, it drives me insane. It sounds like something that would be playing for a marching band somewhere.

Haha, I like Tell Me Why... Anyway, I really don't like either the opening or ending of School Rumble. They're both terrible, have almost no musical quality, are very, very childish, and are not even worth listening to, even if it "adds quality" to the show. They are both just really, really bad songs.

The opening song for Fancy LaLa just gets on my nerves. Some reason I don't find the main character's voice cute at all, so her singing the opening song is just a disaster!

I didn't like some of those Case Closed songs because the girls who would sing the songs had terrible voices, they couldn't even get their notes right.....

I may get a lot of flack for this; but I can't stand "Driver's High" by L'arc~en~ciel from GTO. It's one of those songs where the studio track is bad; but when you hear it live it's done a whole lot better.

I love how the song reminds me of the old Galaxy Express 999 theme song, but I understand where you are comming from.
I saw someone mention (different forum) how they didn't like the Shura no Toki ED song which is one of my favorite songs from both lyrics and compositional points.
I really don't care for Magic from 0083. This might be compounded by the fact that it was replaced by Mio's (since Area 88 one of my all time favorites) Evergreen.
I also laugh whenever there is an older Mecha series like Gundam, Dunbine, Macross, Southern Cross, etc. where the name of the show is sung out multiple times.

Well, I'm not a big fan of "Yakusoku wa Iranai" from Escaflowne, I think I sat through it a few times before I started just skipping the intro every time.
Otherwise pretty much all the endings and openings for Fullmetal Alchemist just don't seem that good to me. They especially just don't seem to really fit the series that well.
