Just F.Y.I.: In the U.S., Daylight Saving Time is now over; however that is not being reflected in the timestamps that I see. Or are we supposed to manually switch the Greenwitch Mean Time settings?

I think you have to manually switch it. I don't see an option on the page where you set your time zone to make it automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time.

I don't believe phpBB2 has that ability; even with phpBB3 you've got to manually toggle DST, though it's separate from the timezone switch.

Yes, you have to manually switch the GMT settings. For the benefit of anyone who may not know how:

Click on forum tab (upper right hand of screen) and choose profile (brings you to edit profile screen).

Scroll down page to Preferences section.

Timezone is second preference from the bottom.

I am in EST, so during DST, my setting was at GMT -4 to give me my correct time. Now that DST is over, I set it at GMT -5 to get the correct time.

There is NO such phrase as "Daylight Standard Time" It's a built in contradiction. You're either on Standard time or Daylight time spelled out with the time zone preface as Eastern Standard Time or Eastern Daylight time (EST or EDT) for those in the US Eastern time zone.
