I just bought the CD, but am trying to find out who did the songs. Does anyone have the movie and/or the soundtrack (translated) and can let me know? Thanks!

Nice avatar sabbey.

Although the tv series is very good, the Area 88 OVA is a masterpiece. I recommend putting it on you must buy list immediatly if you havn't seen it already.

P.S. Venus wars is an excellent film

Venus wars was the first anime I ever saw, so I might be somewhat biased when I say it is one of my favorites. My friend doesn't seem to share my sentaments, but we all have our own opinions.

Jyo Hisaishi of Miyazaki fame did the music. He also did the Arion BGM for Yas. I love this album. It reminds me of the Nausica Image album, the one with the Doroks on the cover.
