Oh, goody! I didn't think I'd be waiting long for the K-On! college and "junior" girls manga sequels, which only just made it to tankoubon in Japan.

The only thing that could possibly sour my happiness would be the dreaded words "digital-only", in which case I'd just import them from Japan.

Cool on Madoka Magica spin-offs and K-ON manga. Smile

Will definitely get those when they are released.

Wait... They licensed BOTH Madoka spinoffs? Definitely getting those, Oriko was pretty good, and Kazumi is my favorite of the Madoka manga series (probably because it's a good bit darker than the others). Been hoping for these, wasn't expecting them so soon, though.

Thank you Yen, there's a reason why I have so many of your manga in my Library.

Hm, Are You Alice? sounds cool. I'll be trying that one out.

Didn't expect to see both Madoka spin-offs licensed at pmce. I wonder if they have their eyes on the anthology comics...

I'm still hoping Yen Press will announce some license-rescues from Bandai, especially Kannagi plus Lucky Star, which seem to be ideal candidates for Yen Press. I certainly can't imagine Lucky Star from any other publisher in its current format.

Yeah I could totally see Yen picking up former Bandai titles. I think they could make it work, too. Just going off what I've seen, it seems YP has done really well and they might be able to take a risk like that.

I love their re-release of Yotsuba&! That was a really smart decision on their part, as each subsequent volume ends up on the NYT bestseller list for a few weeks. I dunno how popular Kannagi or Lucky Star were when Bandai had them, but I wonder if YP could make it work.

I remember reading a few of the scans of Are You Alice? a long while back, and I did find it interesting at that time. Maybe I'll pick it up again when it starts getting published.
