What are the chances that it'll actually end up there? I'm hoping that it does, but how realistic is it to expect it there?

What a lazy and bland title. "Digimon Fusion" has no flare what so ever. Then again, this is from the company who brought us "Power Rangers Samurai" and "Mega Force" ...

Why wouldn't it air on a TV block they own?

I'd say likely.
But then again, it was Saban who originally had the franchise up until the middle of Tamers/ Season 3. At least, I think it was the middle of Season 3. I think fact Disney had influence with Frontier/ Season 4 and definitely had influence with Savers/ Season 5.
I'd be surprised if it didn't air any Digimon shows to be honest. Just hope we don't resort to the theme music style of Seasons 1-3. As much I like the different versions, Season 4 and Data Squad had the much catchier themes.

Might as well call it "Digimon X" or "Digimon Super Fighters".

Well, sadly although I don't hold out hope for an eventual subtitle release from Saban (/tear), maybe just maybe we'll be able to get more DVDs of, oh, say Season 4? I'd buy a box set of Frontier even in English, Saban! Just saying~

It's like a car accident in the making.. you can't help but stare and wonder how it'll turn out. Nene and Mervamon on television... or Lillithmon for that matter. Face-sitting and breast groping still isn't acceptable kids show material, right? Or have censorship standards loosened up since the first series aired on TV.

I think any season can beat Season 2 of Digimon except Season 4 which was on par with that. Though I have no idea how the newer ones are in comparison.

We're talking about Saban dubbing Digimon, the same people who got away with a catfight, guns, character deaths, UNCENSORED CHILD NUDITY, and a few other things that probably shouldn't be in a kids show (D-Reaper Arc in Tamers was a really dark turn in the entire series and they didn't change much when they dubbed it)

I know they edited that stuff out of the old dubs, I was just wondering if TV lightened up since then.

Awesome! Between this, Adventure finally going on DVD, and the upcoming PSP game, its a good time to be a Digimon fan!

This is starting to look a little more bleak if Digimon were to air on the CW (again).

So they finally confirmed it?
I guess we can pretty much expect this to be on Vortexx (a channel block they OWN and are IN CHARGE of), but it's nice that they are pitching this to other networks as well. It could legally air on both cable and Vortexx, which is what I hope to happen.
For those who doesn't know, Studiopolis is producing the English dub for this, recording began last month, and Benjamin Diskin has a role.
