It's a sake cup. There is a flash-based koi-koi game at http://www.gamedesign.jp/flash/hanafuda/hanafuda_e.html, where I waste entirely too much time. |

I like and agree with this. I've tried learning how to play Hanafuda and Koi Koi especially, but its just so complicated to try and learn. I've read online how to do it, but it just confuses me more...
Anyway great job! I look forward to see what the next world is, I imagine a Tiger and Bunny world is in the works? Also, I wonder how many Gundam pieces there are, because this could be a really long plot if worked correctly! Which I of course wouldn't mind! |

I look at strips like the heartfelt tribute to Satoshi Kon or even that one in which Nina cuts herself when opening an action figure. Then I look at these and I can't help but feel this summer-long storyline is a step down from those. This has nothing new or even very funny to say about the series being referenced and the "collect the McGuffins" plot doesn't become fresh or amusing simply because the characters in-story acknowledge it.
I very much look forward to the return of the stand-alone strips. |

Bahahaha!! and yet again, "Oh Japan..."
Koi Koi is pretty easy to learn. I can't find good instructions for Hachi Hachi at all though. |

Lol I'm loving this. It seems likely they'll end up in the Inuyasha world too, probably to trade a piece of the shikon jewel for a piece of the Gundam model.
