i think you can only beat the boss one time. If one group beat the boss, other people can't fight the boss again. I remember they said, once you open the gate to the next level, everybody can go to that level. |

Ep6 Phantom Avenger
spoiler[The mystery is solved. Yoruko and Kains are not dead. They were using the game's system to trick people into thinking they were dead when actually what really was "killed" was their armor and using teleporting crystals at the same time to make it look like they were dead. It turns out Yoruko and Kains were looking for the one responsible for Griselda's death and thought it was Schmit. But it turns out, Griselda's husband Grimlock was the real killer and was faking helping Yoruko and Kains and hired a guild of murderers The Laughing Coffin to kill Schmit, Yoruko and Kains to clean up loose ends. However, they get rescued by Kirito and Asuna captures Grimlock. So why did Grimlock kill Griselda? It wasn't because of the ring. It turns out Griselda was also his wife in real life and he couldn't accept his dutiful wife becoming a fearless, independent leader. PS:All this talk about marriage smells like foreshadowing.] |

What a reveal! spoiler[Ken Narita is still doing VA work!]
If I was in that game, I would invest all my upgrade points into the sandwich crafting skill. I don't care how high-level someone's equipment is, anyone can appreciate a good sandwich. |

Having watched up to episode 4, I have to say:
I like this show a lot, but I can certainly agree with the opinion that it's going WAY too fast. A good example would be episode 3. It was unable to pull at my heartstrings as much as it should because it blew by so damn quickly. You can't develop people in a single episode. Well, you can, but only the best of the best can. |

For me, episodes 1-3 were pretty fail story wise. Aside from the scene setting up the overarching story, the plot was dull and jumpy. The deaths in episode 2 and 3 were cheap and meaningless to me, because the dying characters were not developed at all. I have been much more satisfied with episodes 4-6 plot wise. It has been much more intriguing and fun. However, it is still jumping around a bit and there has been very poor development of the two leads. However, at least I can enjoy the story a bit more.

So the mysterious killer story continues..
PK in a safe zone is pretty impossible. They sure found a loophole in the system. Revenge can be a really good motivator. Seems like it was all just a really good show.. Well, at least it was an imaginative way of flushing out the culprit. Their little play just got them into more serious trouble. They were lucky Kirito had their backs after what they pulled. |

Either this show caused a giant shitstorm or there's just tons of people deeply into it(which is cool).
Even after recognizing obvious flaws and holes in the logic of the series it is still enjoyable. I will agree with Chagen 46 though that the pacing was a bit off in the beginning but it looks like they have settled with a recurring cast as of now which is only for the better. Another thing that I like is how small error messages will pop up when someone hits a wall or how food is also presented as items. It generally conveys an almost realistic game world that still has to put up with a few necessary "flaws" here and there that show that it's still "only" a game. |

So you know what would suck, if they started to lag, or if the internet connection went down. I bet the associated internet connection companies could make a killing out of PR at keeping them safely going or something.
I imagine the whole ordeal could end up like those cases of miners being stuck underground, selling their stories and such could be a big deal. Although I wonder how the possible murder charges might be treated, I would also like to think that some group would have been able to hack in and get a look at how the comatose players are doing. |

Episode six was kind of disappointing; the setup in five was really interesting but the resolution was kind of a letdown, and spoiler[Grimlock as the perp was too obvious. Really lame they ended up going with that, especially considering how lazy his motive was.]
