Well that is dumb. The beauty of art direction in Mononoke can not be transformed in stage play.

A matter of opinion, and one you can't really make unless you've actually watched it.

My prophecies are thus:
- Viewers are bewildered by the fact that the cast are speaking English, but not in the fashion of a Disney dub.
- A recording of a performance is eventually broadcasted during the daytime on Film4, followed by a repeat of a Burt Lancaster film.
- John Lasseter attempts to view the production but gets lost on the M4 coming from Heathrow.
- Helen McCarthy is invited to play the role of the Forest Deer Spirit.

Me three! I wanna see how they handle the wolves, boar-demons, the Kodamas, and the Forest Deer God from the film.

Agreed!
My favorite books should never be adapted for another medium!
The Flying Karamazov Brothers production of "The Comedy of Errors" is peerless - the play should never be produced or adapted again!
No cover songs! (Except for Tim Curry's cover of Squeeze's "Take Me I'm Yours". But that's the sole exception. Don't even think of asking.)
Just say NO to the Trek reboot, people! Nip that Highlander remake rumor in its tender bud!! By all the kami and buddhas, that's quite enough Sherlock, thank you. Is nothing sacred?
This "Game of Thrones" travesty? The ridiculous parade of Doctors in Doctor Who and its gajillion incarnations? Don't get me started.
And what's with another Batman movie, anyway? Adam West, Michael Keaton, Val Kilmer, George Clooney, Christian Bale, the ridiculous number of 'toons and video games? I call shenanigans.
Stop the madness!! Preserve our artistic heritage by encasing it in Lucite(R). Do it now. The future will thank you.
Oh. Wait. There are coffee beans inside those delightfully crunchy chocolate candies. Oh dear.
Never mind.

Haha, what? I'd definitely see this if I lived across the pond.

I think they'll probably do a pretty good job putting this play on. I've always enjoyed British produced shows (comedy and drama), including radio plays.

dumb selfish opinion. It doesn't change anything on the anime rather this make into stage play or not.

That's pretty clearly a sarcastic remark.

If they could get something like War Horse to work on stage, why not this?
