 The headline says it'll air in 2013 but the article says it'll air this year.

Like it'll be a winter show. Those usually start either really late December or early January.

Is this based off the same Hakkenden as the 90's OVA? If so, it sounds interesting (so long as it doesn't pander to any demographics anyways
 ).

I have been waiting for this, still no word on the studio or director I guess, sigh. This could be really good if done well.
