WOW. I have been waiting for this since Adult Swim announced they were going to air the second season and I was not dissappointed one bit. I´m kinda mad they waited this long I figured it would start when the new season of FMA began but it´s worth the wait. The TV-MA rating made it all that better. Does anyone know if this episode was unedited?

It was untouched (with the exception of the shortening of the outro). That's what the Mature rating gets you.
I think that 2nd GIG started at a later date because the dub was hardly close to being finished. In fact, in the ANN interview with Crispin Freeman, he said that they were, "in the middle of recording," the dub for the second season. Since 2nd GIG only finished up in Japan in January of this year, I'd say that ZRO Limit/Animaze worked extra fast to get this series out to the public. |

I've seen the first eight episodes so far thanks to the DVDs so it'll be a while before they air something that's new to me but so far it's excellent. Hopefully the rest of the series will continue to be aired at the new rating.

Actually, I thought the scene where spoiler[the anti-terrorism guy got caught] might have been edited. I saw this episode on the NewType USA Oct. promo DVD and I could have sworn there was spoiler[gunfire that accompanied that scene, as well as maybe 30 seconds more footage]. Now if that was edited I don't think it was edited for violence, seeing what wasn't edited later. However, the episode did seem shorter all around and I wondered if it might have been edited down for time and/or a mistaken edit of some sort  .

Nope, there was no edits to that scene. The only reason I can think of that it may have been faster is that [AS] sped up the outro so they could jam in more crap (commercials) that I don't care about.

Yeah I didn´t much care for the outro either way but then again I didnñt care for the Stand Alone Complex outro either but after episode 25, I loved it. Episode 26 doesn´t play the song. I still wish they didnñt speed up the outro but hey what are you going to do.
