Looking forward to it. Seems like a spiritual successor to Strike Witches to me.

There were some rather fun speculations going in that fansub forum everyone knows about when they were deciphering the 16 clues. It was amusing that they thought Yasuomi Umetsu or Atsushi Nishigori was directing this.

Definitely interested in this new project.
Hmm...I should put in an order (maybe too late and they're usually quite heavy so shipping is a pain) for this issue because of what looks to be a bonus of sorts that features Kuroyukihime from Accel World.

I thought when I first looked at the image that we had a second war on pants, but then I noticed those are just some really short shorts.
Am I the only one that found these two clues in apparent conflict?:
Quote: | The heroine's family live an impoverished life in various ways
It is a peaceful world where science has solved all problems |
Unless her family is doing something deliberately wrong, I would think living in any way impoverished would be a problem.

In many ways the life of the poorest people in developed countries is better than it was for the royalty of ages past(indoor plumbing, for example), so they could easily be poor compared to everybody else in Utopia - or "impoverished in various ways" is a lot more weaselly than you think.

Looks like a pretty nice staff, and A-1 is a reliable studio.

And by quoting "friendship", they actually mean you know what! <_<

I for one love his works (Guilty Crown was one of my favorite shows of the last year, even though a lot of people hated it), so seeing him in the mix makes me even more excited. I love these shows people call "trainwrecks".

When I saw the headline I immediately thought it was announcing an anime adaptation of this:
But alas, 'twas not to be.

Interesting. Time will tell to see if this will be a show with promise that squandered it with gratuitous fanservice like Strike Witches or if it will aspire to be more.
I'm cynically betting on the latter.
