I hope for more.
Anyway, didn't realize that this just came out. No wonder. There isn't a special edition for the final volume? :/

Aka "I'm pulling it till I can run it in a magazine that respects IP, but need to let the dust settle first. Stay posted."
Well I'm sure the Negima fans are happy to hear this. (Now if only Claymore's creator would post something similar, that is if it ended at all.)

Quote: | Akamatsu's comment ends by telling readers that if, in the future, they see a new episode of Negima, it would make him happy if they picked it up |
When he says "new episode", does he literally mean anime episode, or was he saying it in a more general term like calling it a "new chapter" of the series?
Anyway, I hope that he can continue the series. I'm near the end, but not there yet and will probably wait till I have it all in my hands to finish it. Hopefully by the time kodansha finishes putting it out here there will be good news. I like to see a series conclude (instead of going on forever), but only in an appropriate fashion (ie story lines properly wrapped up).

Supposedly there is a huge rumor going on where kodansha is trying to get the rights of the authors which cause ken to pull the plug on Negima early. This might be true because ken has opened his own online publication. Than again, Ken is man with a lot of speculation and controversy. I wish Ken does continue Negima because it ended too suddenly when it had a chance to do one set up arc and an awesome arc that wraps up all the loose ends.

Supposedly the next issue of JSQ has a sequel to Claymore in it. I think it was announced on a twitter of some kind, but I'm not positive.
Glad to hear the series might come back though. I've been reading Negima since I first got into anime and manga, and I was really sad to see it g.

GAAH! Your simple post is made ominous by your avatar! Jeez, that's creepy!!
I look forward to a 'potential' 'new' 'episode' - and in the meantime, fight the good fight, sensei!! I never would have thought that Ken Akamatsu would be a champion for a cause like this.
But on the other hand, why the hell not? The guy's a class act.
Or insane.
An insanely classy act.
I'm done.

If I see more Negima written by Akamatsu-sensei, you can bet your ass I'll buy it. By anyone else though: GET LOST.

I think many Negima! fans would like to see the series continue because of the sudden ending to the series. It left more questions that answers. But I can see his reasoning. He wants to keep control of his series and not want to give it up.

If there is going to be a sequel for Negima, I'm assuming that they're gonna do it years from now, not anytime soon. I'm happy that Ken is open for a revival for the series (by him or by another person), the way it ended just won't do for a long running epic manga.

It has been confirmed that the "the end" from Claymore chapter 126 was an error by the editor's part so we could look forward to chapter 127 in two weeks.
