Odd that Manga Entertainment has rights to Castle of Cagliostro and yet decided to play much worse movies (Sword for Truth) instead when it was in charge of the programming slot for Ani-Monday.

They also launched a channel roku with the same programming. The only differences not all of Robotech or Star Blazers are on there last time I looked. Only first 26 star blazers and part of Robotech saga.

Pretty cool, but the only thing different then what they have on hulu etc. is the full Star Blazers, if it really is the full series.

I just wish whoever holds the rights to all the Yamato movies would put them back on Netflix or some other streaming outlet.
I've been contemplating buying the boxset with all the movies, but was hoping someone would put them back up instead.

Well, that's really awesome.
Too bad I live in a country in which they don't offer that kind of service.
Life sucks.

Saw it yesturday and gave it a try with an episode of Gurren Laggan. Liked how entire seasons were available dubbed (That's just who I am) but disliked how a pew parts were snipped from the show. The worse part was how the commercials came partway through a scene, sometimes interrupting characters mid-sentence. Not bad, but I'm going to stick with DVDs as much as possible.

The thing is tiny, and downloads quickly. I'm not sure why you didn't finish the download, and simply load the app to see if it required you to log in or not (which generally will tell you if it's subscription or not).

It's not like downloading it puts it permanently on your system, you can always delete it.
