Oh wait, I totally missed that was already in there.
Uh, now as long as they get some good stuff to go on.

YES! Just what i've been waiting for! I can't wait to find out what anime's are on the line up! This is so exciting! Finally a TV network that actually pays attention to what the viewers want.

I'd almost forgotten about this. Then again, I almost thought that it would take longer. There's a lot uncertain about this, but I'm going to take a small chance and be at least a little happy. It won't bring revolution to the world, I think you need roses and sword-wielding lesbians or whatever for that, but it's better than the near nothing that we have now.
So, with the disclaimer to the insufferable people who for some reason will try to sneer, "nostalgia," at us as though we are children that I have realistic, thus limited expectations, about what this will mean, I say... HUZZAH!!!!
Anything that might put more Steve Blum in my ears can't be bad.

While I guess its kinda cool from a nostalgia standpoint, it kinda seems pointless nowadays. Nearly everything you'd ever want to see is on demand on the internet, and you don't have to adhere to TV schedules. Personally I think Cable TV is pretty much dead outside of sports.

I'm typically pessimistic about this stuff, but who cares. Toonami will be back on TV. It'll probably just be the same Saturday night/Sunday-early-morning timeslot that [AS] currently has for anime, but hey, there will be TOM. So that's cool. Hopefully it does well and it can expand itself slowly.

I'm in shock right now... This is great news, no matter WHAT is on the line-up! I'd love to see a nice mix of classics and new shows.
I hope they also bring back that Tom robot-guy. It just wouldn't be the same without him.

I want a redubbed, uncut Sailor Moon. Get to work Funimation.

I think my brain shorted out from happiness when I saw that headline.
Holy crap, the campaign worked!

Rejoice! I'm hoping some new anime will make its way on to the Toonami block in the near future!

You talking about Utena?
Anyway great news! And I am happy about this. But I won't party just yet, this channel has screwed over anime so much over the years I am not about to get too excited just because of this. Let's see the lineup, and let's see the block stay alive for more then a few months. Then I'll wear my party hat.

Toonami created a lot of anime fans. Hopefully it can do that again.
