Im trying to get fairy tail vol 2 but right stuf doesn't have it, ebay doesn't have it, and on amazon a used on cheapest is $33. Why is vol 2 so hard to find?

I believe Kodansha is reprinting the earlier volumes of Fairy Tail. Amazon has the reprinted volume 2 set to come out on June 5th.

out of print id imagine, possibly the victim of the kodansha/del rey merger along with stuff like mushishi.
Id considered starting to get fairy tail but this is the kind of thing that put me off. |

this seems to be true, in looking around a book store i shop with has the first 4 volumes up for pre order and as of today claim theres 43 days until release. Things lookin up, i may get em myself now. |

My vol. 8 is a Kodansha reprint. I think they do have plans to re-release the old volumes, at least with Fairy Tail. Don't know how they're handling the other series they took on, though.

Ya after I posted this I went on kodanshas site and when clicked on fairy tail vol 2 it listed it coming out june 5th. I guess it is not that bad but I wanted to start reading more of it now and I could always buy it off the app but the app is only for the ipad and I'm switching to a windows phone and tablet within the next few months. I just find it so strange how only vol 2 seems to be out of print but everything else isn't lol.
