I hope that Kageyama's Solider Dream also gets a similar treatment.

If that happens then hopefully the guy's singing won't be as bad as it was on the 2011 version from the pachinko game. I like Soldier Dream but that version can be pretty hard to listen to more than once.

I don't know about the Pachinko version, but i was referring to Solider Dream getting a similar treatment and singed by Kageyama himself ! Just like the new Yamato remake which is getting the same songs of the original ones with re-arrangements but singed by the original singer-Isao Sasaki.

The re-arrangements in the preview videos have been very classy. I hope Toei keeps up the good work!

The original version of Pegasus Fantasy is one of my favorite anisongs of all time, and Nobuo Yamada must have recorded at least 5 different versions of it by now, including one for the recent pachinko machine. His voice still sounds great, but not as powerful as it was in the '80s.

Kageyama performed that version too. Here's a link:

Thanks for the links, the songs are ok and I think this is how they will be if they are performed at a live concert now. The new redone animation is amazing. Though I would only watch the OP and ED since the game cut scenes doesn't feature Seiya voiced by Furuya thus no Seiya voice for me.

Kinda makes me hope that they do another Saint Seiya game for the PS3 with Omega characters and voices Wink

I finished watching the BD set of the movies and the special Bonus DVD (comes with the set), which has 2011 special interviews with Tohru Furuya (Seiya), Keiko Han (Athena), and the director Shigeyasu Yamauchi. The fun part was Furuya revealing that he first wanted to play the more adult and cool Dragon Shiryu since in previous shows he played the main character such as Kyojin No Hoshi and Gundam fans ended up liking his friend/rival more than his character. But at the end he is glad to have become Seiya......he thinks (laughed).

Well also watching Tenkai hen after finishing the Elysum arc makes it more connected to the Saint Seiya story. But i wonder if Omega will now become the sequel of series with or without taking Tenkai hen into it ?

So am I. Though what i'm really hoping for is that this series gets a US release as well as the hades OVA.

I think it's best to ignore Tenkai-hen, since it never got continued and having Omega include Tenkai-hen's story would just complicate things.

How do I expect Omega to explain Seiya after the manga's end? He got better.

We would need the rest of Seiya TV before we can think about getting the Hades OVAs. It's been an open license since 2009, but who knows if any company will ever give the original another chance. Personally, I feel there's a higher chance at the other Kurumada animes being licensed than Seiya TV getting picked up again.
