Following the succesful regional premiere of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd GIG (GITS season 2), Animax-Asia brings to us once again another lineup of new anime programs for the month of October.

Programs for this month are available depending on the broadcast feed:

Legend:
SE Asia I (Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia)
SE Asia II (Philippines)
HK (Hongkong and Macao)
TWN (Taiwan)

Here are the ff (for October 2005)
:
-Yu Yu Hakusho (SE Asia II, HK & TWN)
-Gunslinger Girl (SE Asia I and HK)
-Initial D 4th Stage Part One (SE Asia II and HK)
-Aishiteruze Baby (HK ONLY)
-Read or Die OVA (TWN ONLY)
-The Galaxy Railways (SE Asia I, HK and TWN)
-Saber Marionette R (TWN ONLY)
-Madara (NEW FOR TAIWAN)
-Birdy the Mighty (NEW FOR TAIWAN).

I guess that's it.

All Animax broadcast feeds* are available with Default Audio or
with Japanese w/Subtitles (refer to your cable/satellite operator)

*Philippines (SE Asia II) will have theirs in 2006.

Guess that's it then.

How's the Filipino dub for INITIAL D?...

I need to take in more comments since the initial feedback I saw was negative

Man, they sure have a lot of shows *I mean, when you stack up all the regions... still, that's a whole lot*

The Filipino dub is good, but I find it kind of funny because they're using a lot of Taglish (Tagalog+English) lines, which I find kind of corny. They sounded like bunch of maarteng high school students, going "Ang galing, he's so very coool", I think I just need some time to adopt to the way they speak.

Actually, the list would go bigger than that.

Saikano, Karekano, Record of Lodoss War (OVA) and Full Metal Panic 1 & 2 (Fumoffu) are available on Animax Taiwan.

I also forgot to include "Voices of a Distant Star" for Animax Taiwan.

Then for HK, Inu Yasha & Detective Conan (a.k.a. Case Closed). Also, don't forget Appleseed.

Then the Chinese love their City Hunter so much.

That's why every month, Animax HongKong and Taiwan would air City Hunter movies and like every year, there is a City Hunter Movie Marathon.

The list is indeed bigger than what any of us can expect.

Well,
We must be behind here.I mean,GITS:SAC 2nd gig hasn't even aired yet.Animax has been around for like a year.Nonetheless, they have brought us some quality shows like Escaflowne and Get Backers(i could go on but i'd rather keep this post short). But i am waiting for gantz(Is the anime better than the the manga?because the manga was good as well)Hopefully we'll get those shows soon.

Hmm...... it should be showing in all Animax broadcast feeds/areas that are handled by SPE Networks Asia.

or

Wait........are you from India???

If so, then it might be no surprise.

Animax South Asia tends to be slow nowadays.

More like after a show is shown on Animax SE Asia, Animax HK or Animax Taiwan for that matter, they just send it to you guys after like 2 months (or even more).

So in simpler terms, after a new program gets shown in the "Main 3" (as I kinda call it), they just show it to the South Asian audience at least 2 months after.

An example would be Cardcaptor Sakura Season 2. It has been shown in SE Asia and HK since mid-July, yet it has only begun to show in Animax SA as of this month.

Just an observation and no pun or anything else intended.

Btw, in your country, do Cable/Sattellite service providers support dual-audio??? (ability to switch from the Default audio to Japanese w/subtitles)
