If there's already plans to have it come to the states in the future, I guess it means the dub for the TV series is going along smoothly. Viz is typically slow about these kind of things, but if Sunrise is pushing them we may get a release of the dub this year after all...

They report on other things weekly, too. Are you going to shout in all caps about those?

That would be remarkably fast! But I guess it's not beyond the realm of possibility that it happens by Fall 2012. Maybe it will be added to [adult swim] in a package deal with InuYasha: The Final Act?

Only thing is I like FMA:B at 12:30, and that would mean it suddenly gets moved to 1:30, more likely than not.

I'm really glad to hear that the film is getting released here but it would be really nice to get Viz to put the show out already. I know there probably going through tons of legal hoops, due to all of the advertising done in the show but I'd just like to have it on physical media already.

I cannot agree more. I know it's no easy task to obtain an anime and distribute it here in North America, especially with all the ads and product placement in T&B, but it's been almost a year since it's finished airing in Japan.

Though they did just finish releasing the Blu Ray in Japan in February, it's taking an awful long time for Viz to release such a big hit. I actually watched the first 10 episodes on Hulu, then stopped myself and said, this deserves a Blu Ray treatment on a good TV and I haven't even finished the series because I want go give Viz my money for the Blu Ray release.
