Yeah, I saw the commercial CN had for it, and the art is even scarier. I think I actually liked the old series better, but that doesn't say much. Well, At least Bo-bo-bo is coming on next Satuday.

o_O it's premiering on Miguzi? I...did not know that. Why was it not on WB? (Not that I really care...)
I dunno, I'm interested. As much as I loved the original (especially the original-original...less fantastic, plus green-haired Kaiba), i'm...really interested. Like, the whole card thing will be a little boring, but I want to see...less save-the-world. Though I expect it does eventually evolve into that...

Well, it's less save the world for the first 26 episodes or so
I thought the original original was better because BAKURA'S A WHITE MAGE! *clears throat* Sorry.
So yeah, here's where the Prophets of Doom and Gloom (TM) start opining and thinking they know all. As for me, if I get Episode 20 pretty much in tact, I'll be happy.

Actually, not true. It's widely regarded that 357 BC's "Oneechan no Jomon, Imouto no Yayoi" is the greatest anime ever in the history of civilization.

Yeah? Well my 10,000 YGO cards and plethora of GBA games and happy meal toys says you are wrong.

Opinions are like noses, everybody has them.
As for the news, it's great because my kids can watch a new show instead of Teen Titans and Cody Lyoko.

Yes, but it's now relevant because it's actually being advertised.
And Steven needs to grow up.

To me the new series came out of no where. I turn on the T.V., I notice this anime i've never seen befor with vary familiar artwork. Then, they talk about being the “King of Games” and Duel Monsters. Meanwhile, I sit stairing at the screen going, “Wait, what?. What the heck is this. Where's Yugi, Tea and even that stupid Joey. *-*...oh well”, and from that point on, i got on to the viewing.

Well except for Michael Jackson...
Anyway, I hope this show turns out better than the dubbed original Yu Gi Oh! did. I looked at the characters names on the official Yu Gi Oh! website and they are 10 times more stupid and steriotyipical that the original Yu Gi Oh! dubbed names, but I have hope that this won't totally bomb...

Not only was the show bland, uninteresting, and dull, but the dub magnifies that by about ten, the only saving grace being a few *admittedly* funny jokes.
Somehow I don't forsee this lasting long.

Agreed, but where were these jokes?
I think it will fair moderately well in its current time slot, and it won't be a total failure for CN as all the little kids will still watch it.
