Yeah...it does look a little weird in CG. Cel shading would've been more fun I think, but still it looks good. I think that screencap of Mugen in the cherry blossom petals is way cool though. I'm not sure what kind of game it is, but it looks like it might be only a fighting game. Who knows.

The good looking pics are undoubtedly from the cinema sequences in the game....the other part looks kinda lame. That having been said, I'm looking forward to giving it a whirl

Meh, I think they should have waited half a year or so before they started developing this, then aim for a ps3 release instead of using ps2's outdated graphics. The screenshots of cut-scene graphics were gorgeous and well-done, but the in-game screens were damn ugly. If they'd waited a little while, they could have used those gorgeous cut-scene graphics for the whole game, and I would play it for that alone.

I also think the should of went for the Cel Shading. It would go better with the show.
And for the record, cel shading is still CG.

My only problem at the moment (until I see actual gameplay, in motion) is that the characters all look too flat, color-wise. The show has a rich color pallette even in the night scenes, but the CG screens on the website just suck that beautiful imagery into some dark, far-off hole and leave us with uninteresting graphics.
I'm not a big fan of cel-shading, but if done right it can produce exactly the sort of vibrant graphics that this game needs.

Yes...I think the mood of the show (the irreverence and not taking itself too seriously aspect) would be better represented by Cel Shading. However, the product still looks good. I agree with the previous poster that they should have waited to develop/release this for the PS3 instead.

Given the Hip-Hop nature of the show, it might have been more apropriate to go with a grafiti cel shaded style. Either way this game doesn't look very impressive at all.
