Not entirely sure where this topic belongs. Hanenone is the name of the Haibane Renmei OST. Does anyone know what "hanenone" translates to? More specifically the "none" part. Thanks in advance.

This was one pretty tricky... はね means feathers and の is posessive. I had trouble trying to figure out what ね meant but I believe that はねのね means the 'Sound of Feathers.'

So, you're reading it as 羽の音? That was my understanding, too. The CD cover, of course, is no help at all - it says ハネノネ in all-katakana. Very helpful...

Actually it took me quite a while but I was able to figure it out. Hikarintakeru's translation was what I got as well.

If you notice towards the bottom center of the CD cover you can make out a faint 羽音 written vertically in the two white boxes. I couldn't make it out at first so I used a basic radical lookup and found 音 closest in meaning. I guess they would've omitted the の because 音 can be used as -non.

So yeah something like "The Sound of Feathers".

My sweet Heaven, you've got good eyes. That was completely invisible to me.
