I noticed that it states that Naruto is going to air on Adult Swim. Last I heard (and many times as well, including seeing a commercial >_>), it's going to air on Toonami. Sigh.
On a side note, Britney Spears as No. 001? She's still alive? >_>

I thought Naruto was already like DBZ.. Yanno. The whole "Fight takes up 10 episodes" deal. Only it's shorter.
It's 5 episodes per fight and it's about ninjas!
PS: I'm a Naruto fan.

I also thought it was going to be on Toonami. Is it a mistake or is it gonna be on Adult Swim?

I always considered the very first fight happening in episode 7, lasting 3 episodes. Then the second major one was in episode 12, lasting 9.
The thing about Naruto, that distinguishes it from DBZ, is the battles are acctually varied, focusing more on a variation of techniques, rather than 10 episodes of incoherent speed lines. =P

It's someone at Lycos not doing their research.

Naruto #40? Dragonball #3? The next Dragonball?
Maybe, though unlike Dragonball, hopefully the original music will be left in the English version. I like both Naruto and Dragonball though.
And someone must be living under a rock under at Lyco's, because the announcements have clearly stated September 10, 2005 at 9pm (Pacific time) on Toonami. Unless theres some mad scheme to turn Toonami into Adult Swim...

This is actually kinda amusing.
When Adult Swim first came into existence, press releases and anime companies constantly confused Toonami and Adult Swim, often stating a show would appear on Toonami when it was really going to AS. I can still remember when a Slashdot article said that "Trigun" was heading to Toonami when the press release clearly said Adult Swim.
Nowadays, AS obviously carries the bigger weight, and people now believe a show is heading to AS when it's really heading to Toonami.

They porbably get a lot of traffic for a website, but not enough to be compared to Google.

In answer to that...I give it eight months after the show airs on CN. Should be enough time for the show to become popular. There was an interesting Ask John about Naruto a while back, and I wouldn't be surprised if the "Narutards" give it the DBZ treatment after millions of grade school kids start wearing Naruto head protectors around.

About four months ago.
Hey, I still like it (it's not a favourite by ANY stretch of the imagination, but it's a good show), but there is a significant "2 kewl 4 u" crowd forming because Naruto's already far enough along on the '"trendy" ladder to earn it the "I hate it 'because hating it's hip" crowd.
